Every child is a gift and a promise. The Children's program of Mary's Cradle is currently on planning stage. We envision that through school-based nutrition, early-learning support, and community outreach, Mary’s Cradle helps children grow healthy in body and spirit. We focus on improving nutrition and reducing stunting in GIDA areas, ensuring every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Malnutrition continues to affect Filipino children—1 in 3 under five are stunted and 1 in 10 are underweight (UNICEF 2023; FNRI 2021).
Poor diets, limited parental awareness, and weak school–community links keep families trapped in a cycle of undernutrition.

A proposed 3-month exploratory activity will assess family nutrition practices, product acceptability, and growth monitoring processes. Implementation depends on finalized partnerships.

A key element in our plan is for partner schools to integrate nutrition lessons while teachers and parents track child progress through community-based activities.

Any expansion will depend on the results of the pilot, the availability of partners, and alignment with local and national government priorities. As partnerships develop and evidence supports feasibility, the model may be adapted or expanded with government and NGO collaborators — connecting nutrition, education, and community livelihood opportunities.
