Validation Before Scale
Mary’s Cradle follows a phased, validation-before-scale implementation model that assesses community readiness, program delivery and operational performance before expanding to additional communities.
Phase 1 | Validate (Years 1–2)
Launch the program in selected communities, strengthen community engagement and local implementation capacity, and refine delivery through continuous monitoring, implementation learning and evidence generation.
Phase 2 | Demonstrate (Year 3)
Expand into additional communities while strengthening local capacity and assessing whether the implementation model can be successfully replicated.
Phase 3 | Scale Responsibly (Years 4–5)
Expand only when implementation evidence, operational performance, community readiness and local capacity support responsible expansion.
Phased Geographic Expansion
Geographic expansion occurs progressively—not all at once. Each phase assesses implementation performance, strengthens community engagement and local capacity, and incorporates lessons learned before expansion to the next geographic area, creating a stronger foundation for responsible and sustainable scale.

Mary’s Cradle enters implementation with key program foundations under development, including proposed institutional collaborations, preliminary community validation, implementation planning, community engagement structures, and monitoring frameworks. These foundations are designed to strengthen program readiness and reduce implementation risk.
